Band 7 Social Worker – sessions available in High Wycombe for the below availability:
- Length: 3-month position, potential to extend
- Daily sessions: Monday-Friday available
- Hours: 9AM – 5PM
- Community Health Centre

Essential skills:
- Valid driving licence and using own car
- Social Work professional qualification (Social Work degree or Masters or DipSW) 3yrs +
- Registered with Social Work England
- Significant experience of working within the Care Act including adult Safeguarding – undertaking S42 enquires/chairing meetings
- Undertaking S9 + S10 assessments within the Care Act 2014 alongside reviewing existing care packages
- Experience of working with people with complex mental health needs in the community and hospital setting
- Significant experience of MCA 2005 and Court of Protection applications/process
- Understanding and application of strength-based model
- Experience of working within the Mental Health Act including s117 Aftercare
- Evidence of excellent report writing skills
- It is essential that potential candidates can demonstrate the above knowledge to meet the needs of the clients and the service
Desirable skills:
- Experience of mentoring/supervision of social care staff
- Knowledge of LAS/liquid logic data base
